What is Shazam?
Shazam is a song discovery app – it is NOT a streaming service. It acts almost as a search engine for the music industry. Shazam's data is used to indicate the public's interest in a song to determine whether it is popular or will be a hit song. Thus, it indirectly influences music industry decisions such as streaming platforms' playlisting, marketing strategies, radio airplays (which contribute 30 - 40% of Billboard HOT 100 chart), etc.In short, Shazam-ing GOT7 songs can help demonstrate the popularity and high interest of their music globally and locally!Shazam is completely free. Downloading Shazam
Downloading Shazam is completely free. It is available on both iOS and Android devices.
Shazam Tutorial
First, download the Shazam app, and make sure the microphone access is enabled in device Settings.
Play the new GOT7 song you want to Shazam from anywhere you like (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, your car stereo, CD player in your home, etc.); just make sure your Shazam app (your device) can “hear” the song.
Open the Shazam app and tap the Shazam button.
Shazam will "listen" to the song and identify it in a few seconds.
About Location Permission
Although it's optional, we strongly encourage turning on the LOCATION permission for Shazam app as it will show your local music industry about GOT7's song popularity in your region.
If LOCATION permission is turned on, your Shazam will contribute to both your local Shazam chart as well as Global chart. If it's disabled, your Shazam will only contribute to Global chart.

DISCLAIMERS
As of Spring 2020, iOS devices can no longer Shazam the same song more than once per 24 hours (i.e., even if you Shazam many times, only one Shazam will be counted towards total number), as there is no longer a way to CLEAR DATA on the iOS devices.
Total Shazam counts are also no longer updated frequently in minutes. Instead, the update interval is around 30~60 minutes.
Shazam Multiple Times Using Your Android Device
Using Android devices, you can Shazam the same song as many times as you want, if you always CLEAR DATA after EVERY Shazam. Note that CLEAR DATA is different from deleting Shazam history, so please make sure to read the screenshot tutorials below thoroughly.
If you do not CLEAR DATA, your Shazams on the same song will only be counted once per 24 hours.
For Android, you do NOT need to log in at all. Just keep doing Shazam → CLEAR DATA → Shazam → CLEAR DATA → Shazam → CLEAR DATA...... (*Although you certainly can, but there is no need to Shazam other songs in between.)

Billboard is the published weekly popularity charts for songs and albums in the United States.
All billboard charts that GOT7 chart in are based on usa digitals. Meaning, all downloads & streams count towards all charts in general if you purchase within the United States which includes The Hot 100, Billboard 200, Artist 100 charts, and Billboard Social 50. If you are not in the U.S. you can still help GOT7 chart locally by buying the title track first and completing the album.
